The men's under-20 (U-20) national team ahead of the U-20 Asian Cup will continue to prepare for the tournament through off-season training in Thailand.

The U-20 team, led by head coach Lee Chang-won, will hold off-season training in Bangkok, Thailand from Jan. 21 to Feb. 5. This is the final step in preparation for the Asian Football Confederation (AFC) U-20 Asian Cup, which will kick off in Shenzhen, China next month.

The convocation team consisted of 27 members. Two players are from overseas leagues, including Kim Tae-won (Portimonens SC, Portugal), and Park Su-bin (CD Leganes, Spain), who had been constantly called upon by coach Lee Chang-won. Kang Min-woo (Ulsan HD), Kim Myung-joon (Pohang Steelers), and Yoon Do-young (Daejeon Hana Citizen), who played for the 2023 U-17 World Cup, were also selected.

The AFC U-20 Asian Cup, in which 16 teams will participate, will be held from Feb. 12 to Mar. 1. Four teams will be divided into four groups, and the first and second-ranked teams (eight teams) of each group will advance to the tournament to compete for the title. The competition will be held at the same time as the Asian qualifying round for the FIFA U-20 World Cup to be held in Chile in September, and the top four teams will be given the right to play in the World Cup finals.
The U-20 teams were in Group D with Japan, Syria, and Thailand in the Asian Cup finals. Korea will face Syria on Feb. 14, Thailand on Feb. 17, and Japan on Feb. 20. 먹튀검증
